The whole saga is collected here to be tasted in its entirety.

Straight from the delicious Land of the ChocoRabbits…
(I know where it is, but I can't tell anybody; if the human species found it out, it wouldn't last long!))
Best wishes for a…
GREAT EASTER 2009!!!

2010 d.C.
In the delicious Land of the Chocorabbits, as chocolate eggs hatch in spring…
What surprise could ever be found inside the eggs scattered here and there in the meadows?
New Chocorabbits, of course! After all, the prolificacy of rabbits is well-known.
Ah, the miracle of nature…
Have an EXQUISITE EASTER 2010!

2011 d.C.
Given the proximity of their respective lands, the Chocorabbits often receive pleasant visits from the Chocodoves, with whom they have a particular harmony.
After all, there is no need for an expert to notice that the two species seem to be related in some way…
May the peace-bearing Chocodoves propitiate a…
HARMONIOUS EASTER 2011 !!!!

2012 d.C.
Although the relationships between the two species are usually excellent, on rare occasions some disagreement can arise among Chocorabbits and Chocodoves.
Sometimes, young Chocodoves (not yet used to good neighbourhood rules) flutter and scamper too close to the Great Chocorabbit Monument, causing resentful complaints by some of the elder, more traditionalist Chocorabbits…
But this year as well, the intrinsic sweetness of the two species allowed to immediately settle any quarrel, so that we can thus serenely celebrate a…
PEACEFUL EASTER 2012 !!

2013 d.C.
The Land of the Chocorabbits is notoriously a pleasant land; its climate often allows the little animals to relax on the beach.
But some of them are careless and sometimes forget to smear their bodies with high protection cocoa butter sunscreen… It may then happen that parts which are most sensitive to heat (such as tails, according to experts), when in contact with each other can merge, causing discomfort and/or movement problems to those affected.
Usually, in such situations, they have to wait for the arrival of a blacksmith, or at least DIY expert, equipped with tools suitable for separating and modeling the melted parts.
Let's hope that, despite the rains of these days, we can have a…
SOLAR EASTER 2013 !!!!

2014 d.C.
Even this year, in the Land of the Chocorabbits…
AH, WHAT HAPPENS ?!?!?!
They saw you! I knew it… I told you to be careful!
It was only a matter of time before Chocorabbits and Chocodoves noticed that someone was watching them!
Now they are watching you in return, wondering what you are and what you want.
I will try to reassure them that you have always looked at them just out of curiosity and you are not a threat; not even the greediest among you. This will prove to be true, also because I won't tell anyone how to find their delightful Land…
May our species, in this situation of new mutual transparency, wish each other a…
CLEAR EASTER 2014 !!!!

2015 d.C.
Since last year, when our cute cocoa animals found out that they were under observation (yours), in the Land of Chocorabbits there have been mixed reactions.
I tried to reassure everyone, and many Chocorabbits and Chocodoves did not worry too much about the matter and continued to behave normally.
Others feel puzzled though, and still can't be convinced that there's no need to engage in overly prudent and suspicious behaviour…
However, I am convinced that they will soon relax: we can therefore all have a…
CONFIDENT EASTER 2015 !!

2016 d.C.
It is a time of great serenity for the Chocorabbits… So, I am allowed to let you take a look at them again; year after year, their land turns out to be increasingly complex and interesting.
I've been knowing for some time that they trust me, but a few days ago they took me by surprise by letting me in on the news that they are having their neighbours for a big party that will take place today.
This unexpected event answers a question that most of us were wondering about: yes, there are other populations of Chocorabbits, different from the one of the village that we now know well. Differences are of various types, but the most evident is the chromatic one; it seems that this is due to a different concentration of cocoa in the individuals of the various groups.
And the same goes for the Chocodoves! Amazing discoveries for my studies…
I have been told that, in ancient times, these differences caused quite a few problems: the darker Chocorabbits, with the highest percentage of cocoa, considering themselves the only pure "race" caused disagreements with all the other groups; you can imagine the neighbourly relationships with the milk chocolate and white chocolate ones….
But the species made great improvements since then, overcoming this and other problems. Peace, tolerance, social justice and respect for rights are now values to which the delightful little animals attach great importance; the rainbow itself, which often appears through their skies, almost seems to stress this atmosphere.
Well, now I'd better say goodbye to you, and join them: I'm invited too, and representatives of all groups are waiting for me to complete their circle and start the party. I'm flattered. Maybe, after all these years, they consider me an honorary Chocorabbit.
Best wishes from all inhabitants of the Land of Chocorabbits, then; may this be an…
ENLIGHTENED EASTER 2016 !!

2017 d.C.
After all these years spent studying the ChocoRabbits and their Land, I am trying to arrange all the notes I took to write down my thoughts properly.
But the ChocoDoves are rather jealous! They think their part in the story is too small (in comparison to the ChocoRabbits' one) and so they are trying to make my duty quite difficult.
I hope I can convince them to get over this silly feeling, so that we can all have an…
Altruistic Easter 2017 !!

P.S. Maybe the ChocoDoves did not realize that a first draft of my Chronicles of The Land of the ChocoRabbits already exists: you are reading it.
2018 d.C.
Throughout the last year everything was quiet and peaceful in the Land of the ChocoRabbits.
Thus, there are no stories or events for me to record.
But it looks like ChocoRabbits and ChocoDoves were quite busy learning some surprising special effects to wish us a really…
Animated Easter 2018 !!

The animation above (in case it stays still after activating it, please try waiting for a few seconds for the whole file to load) is an image in GIF format, low resolution to keep the file within 5 MB. If your device and bandwidth allow it, you may want to watch the other versions, in higher quality but heavier in terms of data downloaded from the Internet:

I have by now acquired a considerable amount of data for the studies about the Chocorabbits.
Therefore, I'd like to broaden the scope of my Easter research by writing a short guide that will hopefully help people in finding suitable eggs for the occasion.
But that is a different tale, which we are not going to tell here.
Happy Easter 2019!
2020 d.C.
Coronavirus managed to arrive even in the Land of the Chocorabbits.
Unexpectedly, things turned really bad for it!
Chocorabbits and Chocodoves appear to be gentle and shy creatures. Yet, when threatened, they can be quite combative.
As you can see, Coronavirus has been welcomed rather roughly and has soon decided to retreat.
Some of its entities, though - now harmless because of a coat of chocolate - surrendered and asked to stay, declaring they like their new situation.
Therefore, it is being considered whether to allow them to remain in this magical land as inoffensive Chocoviruses.
Happy Easter 2020!

Easter 2021: Chocorabbits in Space
While everybody considers Mars as the new frontier of space exploration, some Chocorabbit scientists discovered a new planet that, unlike the Red one, seems to show residual presence of cocoa!
If true, this would be evidence of the existence of life - present or past - on this mysterious "Chocoplanet".
Thus, the Chocorabbits are using their scientific and technological knowledge (I know, we all underestimate it, at first) to plan the daring expedition!
Will our heroes be able to bring back samples of extraterrestrial chocolate?
Have a happy…
Easter 2021 of great discoveries!

Easter 2022: The Chocoplanet
The Chocorabbits managed to land on the mysterious chocoplanet. Did anybody doubt it?
There they are, busy with the exploration of the surface.
But while they search for residual presence of cocoa, the wonderful view of the Earth rising over the chocoplanet's horizon (quite dull, let's admit it) leaves them in awe.
Before such beauty and fragility, one cannot avoid being mesmerized.
We can therefore rest assured that the Chocorabbits will be back!
Happy and mindful Easter 2022!

Quiz: this image pays homage to a rather known photograph (at least to those interested in certain topics). I anticipate a legitimate doubt: no, in the original picture there are no rabbits. And there are no prizes here, but let me know if you understand what we are talking about ;-)

Easter 2023: The Monolith
During the exploration of the mysterious chocoplanet, down in a crater of the surface, something unexpected suddenly appears!
A sort of strange geometric solid stands before the eyes of the Chocorabbits, taking them aback.
Could it be a natural formation?
Might it have possibly been created, assembled or built by a sentient being?
Where is it from? Why is it here?
But, above all, what is it made of?!?? ;-)
This plot twist leads to great questions…
Happy and mysterious Easter 2023!

Quiz: this image, as well, pays homage to something rather known. As always, let me know if you understand what we are talking about.

Through the Monolith
Approaching the mysterious monolith (see previous episode), the Chocorabbits find out that it actually is made of chocolate… but not solid as expected; it's liquid, or something like that!
The bravest Chocorabbits try to touch it and immerse their paws…
Fine: high quality chocolate.
So they try to go further and…
That's incredible, they can enter it, but nothing shows from the opposite side!
Where are they now? Are our heroes lost forever?
Oh, tragedy! Ah, despair!
But wait! Here they come back! What are they saying?
"Come here! You must see what's there… here… well, inside (beyond?) this thing!"
Luckily, the contact with the monolith seems to be harmless, but…
This mystery becomes even more mysterious!
Happy and immersive Easter 2024!

Quiz answer: the previous episode (as well as this one), paid homage to the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" and its monolith.

Homeworld
Previously on the Chocorabbits Saga:
By observing a new, mysterious planet, the Chocorabbits decide to land on it with an expedition that will search for traces of cocoa. But while they are busy with the sampling, our intrepid explorers stumble upon a strange monolith, which turns out to be an astonishing sort of portal to other worlds…
Where will this strange passage lead? How dangerous will it be?
Amazingly, by entering the monolith on the chocolate planet, our heroes reappear… in the Land of the Chocorabbits!
Is the Chocoplanet somehow linked to their home? Maybe even to their origins?
What could the relationship be? A question that remains unanswered, for now.
Being pragmatic, it definitely is a convenient shortcut.
Best wishes for a…
INTRADIMENSIONAL EASTER 2025!
